Ibou Diagne is a self-taught artist who attended the studio of Daouda Ndiaye, art teacher and visual artist. His interest in art began in elementary school, where he enjoyed drawing. What he seeks in artistic creation is the pleasure of painting and experimentation. His work is inspired by the world of Daouda Ndiaye, whom he considers his mentor. 

He has taken part in various group exhibitions in Senegal and France. His works are exhibited in Senegal and Europe.
