Born in 1985 in the Russian Caucasus and raised between Russian and German cultures, Anastasia Volokh’s artistic talent emerged at a young age. Though she never attended art school, she refused to choose between creativity and career. Instead, she built a successful path in marketing while embracing her self-taught artistry.

Guided by the belief that nothing is impossible, Anastasia thrived in the German and African startup world by day and immersed herself in art in Berlin by night. “In a world of roles and expectations, art allows me to live my authentic self and express emotions in the most genuine way.”

In 2016, she followed intuition over logic, picking Senegal on a map and leaving Europe for a fresh start. The move unlocked new inspiration—her work reflects the people she meets, a sense of freedom, deep emotions, and authenticity.

Balancing an international career, motherhood, and art on the African continent, she embodies her philosophy:
